Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC is seeking assistance to help get a new Fan Ambassador Project up and running at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
Following a recent meeting with a small group of fans who are eager to give some time to assist the club, and having thrown some ideas around, it was felt that the greatest impact could be achieved by introducing a scheme that encourages fans to help each other…..after all, who’s better placed to know what supporters want or need?
Primarily, Fan Ambassadors will act as an important initial point of contact for supporters on a matchday. They will operate in and around the stadium and be on hand to to provide information and direction to fellow supporters and visitors to the club.
Fan Ambassadors will also be active in seeking feedback (good or bad) from fans on any and all matters relating to ICTFC and taking this forward with the club via our Supporters Liaison Officer who has direct contact with the Directors on all matters fan related.
Some other items have also been identified as areas in which Fan Ambassadors can be of immediate assistance. These include distributing newsletters/information in written form for those who aren’t connected to the digital world and expanding the availability of merchandise sales in and around the ground.
As supporters of ICTFC themselves, Fan Ambassadors will already be thinking like those they are there to help. If you’re patient, considerate and enthusiastic about doing more to help your club and fellow fans, then get in touch.
As you may know individuals within the club also help run our very popular Sunday Car Boot Sales in aid of the ICTFC Community Department, Youth Teams and other Local Youth Initiatives under the auspices of the club’s Community Charity. These take place every Sunday (weather permitting) from late March until November and any assistance, even one Sunday per month, would be off great help to those involved….believe it or not it can also be a fun and eventful experience.
