Inverness travel to Greenock to face Morton in their last scheduled league match of the 2017/18 season. Inverness will be hoping it isn’t the end of their season though as they could still get a play-off place if they were to win.
Referee: John Beaton Assistants: Paul McNeill and Steven Strang
“Despite the fact we’re bitterly disappointed about the late goal against Dunfermline, that’s football and you have to take it. Lesser teams would have crumbled on Tuesday and felt sorry for themselves against a very good Livingston side, that deserve to finish second, but we didn’t.
“We kept focused, kept our heads and got the result and what we’ve done is we’re keeping Dunfermline honest. That’s all we can do as the late goal has taken it out of hands and we all know that we need a small footballing miracle, but you never know. Pressure can do strange things. Do I expect Dunfermline to lose the match? No. Do I expect Dunfermline to pick up at least a point? Yes.
“However, we have to what we have to do and that’s go down to a very difficult place in Morton, get a victory and keep that pressure on. That’s what we’ve prepare for and that’s what we’re looking to do on Saturday.”
A play-off position has definitely out of the Ton's reach with them currently sitting in 6th place but six points off the play-off with one game left of the season. Jim Duffy's men know though that a slip up here could mean they finish 7th if Queen of the South beat Brechin City at Glebe Park.
Iain Vigurs returns from suspension but Gary Warren remains sidelined with a calf injury.
